MARKETING COORDINATOR, BAYCARE
June 2019 - Present
Although I felt good about the work I was doing for the retirement industry, I began to think that having a pile of savings for retirement doesn't do one any good if they aren't healthy enough to make it to retirement. I decided to use my marketing and project management skills to serve a large non-profit healthcare system in the Tampa Bay area. I was responsible for developing print and digital collateral targeting consumers, physicians, patients, and donors.
See an example of a successful print ad I developed to generate physician referrals for BayCare orthopedic services.
IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT MANAGER, PRUDENTIAL
June 2018 - June 2019
When an employer decided to move their 401(k) plan from their current recordkeeper to Prudential, I was responsible for ensuring a seamless transfer of their employees' dollars to our system. This required collaboration with internal business partners, clients, and advisors to achieve 100% timely and accurate transitions.
The tools I used for this role are not publicly available, but contact me and I'd be happy to discuss my project management process with you.
MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER, PRUDENTIAL
February 2013 - December 2017
At Prudential, I developed digital marketing strategies to help individuals make the most of their employer's retirement benefits. I gave our customers the tools and knowledge they needed to enroll in their 401(k), save at the right rate, and diversify their investments.
A good example of one project I worked on that achieved the above goals is the online "Challenge Quiz," a short, interactive questionnaire that helped people understand which of five behavioral challenges most impacted them in saving for a secure retirement - and how they could overcome their challenge.
COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST, MFP STRATEGIES
June 2012 - February 2013
I served MFP Strategies as their Retirement Communication and Education Specialist. In this role, I developed annual marketing plans for each client to encourage their employees to enroll in their retirement benefits. I gave in-person presentations, as well as developed online presentations in Prezi and Brainshark.
I also served as the marketing specialist of the firm, creating case studies, whitepapers, and writing content for the MFP website. You can read one whitepaper I wrote for the firm below.
PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER, INFRAGISTICS
November 2011 - June 2012
Working for this UX/UI Tools developer was awesome, as they were certainly on the cutting edge of all things marketing. I served as a copywriter for all B2B and B2C marketing materials.
A few of the case studies I wrote for Infragistics continue to live on the website - click below and check out "Rovabu Software" and "TechnoLogica."
BUSINESS ANALYST, PRUDENTIAL
June 2008 - November 2011
Client relationship managers relied on me to provide reporting and analytics on our clients' 401(k) plans. I used data and insights to make recommendations about products and services our clients should consider adding to their plans to help them perform more optimally.
My experience as an analyst made me a highly valuable marketer, as I was able to apply my data skills in Microsoft Excel to providing strategic reporting for our marketing campaigns.

ASSISTANT IT COORDINATOR, INSTITUTE FOR SHIPBOARD EDUCATION
